Inaugural Alibaba Certified Lecturer in Sunway Diploma Studies

Seven Diploma in Business Administration lecturers (Ms. Fatimah Sakeenah, Ms. Thana P., Mr. Albert Lim, Ms. Lai Sok Yee, Dr Hurul Ain, Dr. William Eng, and Ms. Natalie) successfully completed the Alibaba Global Digital Talent Programme (GDT) certificate in 2024. These lecturers henceforth are qualified to teach the new program (Diploma in Digital Entrepreneurship) which will be offered by Sunway Diploma Studies in 2025.

The GDT programme is divided into two parts which are Digital Transformation (DT) and Digital Entrepreneurship (DE). The DT segment covers 13 diverse topics, which includes Customer-Centric Digital Entrepreneurship, Mission-Driven Entrepreneurship, Digital Marketing, and Digitalisation in Supply Chain, whereas, the DE segment focused on 7 key topics such as AI in Business Applications, Content Marketing and Social E-Commerce Practice, Organisation in the Digital Age, Cross-Border E-Commerce and Supply Chain Management, and New Finance, equipping participants with insights into emerging technologies and trends shaping the future of business.

SDS offers relevant programs to students to meet the ever-changing industry standards and committed to invest in the development of its lecturers. The second batch of lecturers will embark on the GDT programme in 2025.
